In drought ridden Turkana, northern Kenya, health workers are few and far between. Nurse John Ateo Epatan has singlehandedly manned this remote outpost in the Kanukuridio clinic in Turkana North district for the last five years, solely dedicated to safeguarding the health of over 3,000 people.
